Beach Metal

I've had writers block for a while now. I've all but stopped writing lately cause nothing that was coming out seemed to be very good, so I had stopped.

That being said, as many of you may know, I am a huge pack rat. I keep everything. And because I keep everything, sometimes its fun to go back and see what I kept.

Recently I went through my Windows Word docs, and have found a couple of things. They remind me of scrap metal found by an old man with a metal detector at the beach. He's wearing nothing but a swim suit, and has more white fur then one would hope for. Yet there he is, beaming as he stares at the coin he has found.

Is it worth more then the 10 cents face value?

Anyways, here is one of the things I found. :)

Ananda

I want to taste the aroma around your lips
Before I dive deep into the depths of your love.
I want to feel your tenderness
As I grip your hands from above.

Do you think as we kiss?
Or is your mind alarmed with the scents of a time not long ago.
Are your eyes open, or do they wink
Startled, searching for the source, and longing for more.

I want to hold you in my arms
Lick your silky skin with my fingertips
I want to breathe against your neck with charm
As I grab your waist, faced with the compelling sway of your hips.

Would you sing to me?
Is it just rehearsal, or does it come from deep within your heart.
Sentimental fools, crazed with monastic memories
Sweet hymns they flow from your mouth, clinging, as your lips depart.

I need to know you love me too
Before I dive deep into the depths of your love.
I need to hear your tender whispers
Assure me this is preordained from above.

Am I good enough?
Does your mind question your decision, would you like to desist?
One, two, three: “Caesar was made of sterner stuff”
Sirens ring in my head, as this moment allows me to exist.
