wait, how can this be?
She says she loves me!!
wait and see.

weight is futility.

but how do I know.

but I will not allow,
she says she loves me,
with a sudden vow.
he turns in shock, 360 degrees,
filled with a certain sense of humility,
he embraces his love, smiling wide
knowing She will always be by his side.

that's really good - I like the switch between the self-doubt and the last stanza where the speaker feels clarity and surety at last
